One of the reasons we established the Love Merino brand back in 2015 was to ensure that every fibre of wool in our garments originates from our own farm – Glenwood Merinos. Glenwood was one of the first farms in Australia to become Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) accredited – and we did it independently.
The RWS is a voluntary standard that addresses the welfare of sheep and the land they graze on. It recognises the best practices of farmers; RWS wool comes from farms that have a progressive approach to managing their land, practice holistic animal welfare, ethical processing and manufacturing.
This scarf is literally one of a kind! Designed and individually hand dyed, by Karen Davis and Pepa Martin @ Shibori, Stanmore, Sydney. This scarf is made from 100% fine SRS® Australian Merino. It is unbelievably soft and warm and is sourced exclusively from our farm, Glenwood Merinos, Wellington, in the Central West of NSW. This scarf is a generous 2m x 45cm.

All Love Merino fabrics are produced from the merino sheep on our farm Glenwood, Central West NSW - "Farm to Fabric". Our Glenwood Merino Farm is accredited at an RWS (Responsible Wool Standard). Love Merino products are completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use. Underpinning our brand is a strong desire to be sustainable and ethical. One of our practices is making use of all the fabric when we are producing the Love Merino garments. Our scarves and wraps are made on a Flat bed machine so each product is made to size with no wastage.
